Preparing for ESWC: where KiWi will be present

It is less than one week now until ESWC09 starts near Heraklion, Crete, and this will be the first conference where KiWi will be massively present. In this post, I’d like to summarise where and what you will be able to see next week:

  • the Semantic Wiki workshop on Monday will see a number of KiWi presentations, ranging from querying & searching, information extraction and personalisation to the architecture of the KiWi system and a presentation of the overall system
  • the KiWi system will also be demonstrated in its current state at the ESWC Demo session on Tuesday; be sure not to miss it, and – if you like it – vote for it as best demo! We have already prepared a showcase system and plan to add some small extras when we are in Crete
  • two posters (ideas on transactions & reasoning and on linked open data) will be presented in the ESWC Poster session, taking place together with the demo session on Tuesday

I hope that many of you come to ESWC and see what we have to show. I think it is worthwhile.:-)

    There will, in fact, be three KiWi posters – there will also be one about querying and reasoning :)
