Project 365

Published by wastl

“Project 365″ is my personal photography project for 2010 – one picture a day (RSS feed)! The rules are very simple: take at least one picture every day and publish it on this blog page. Everything else is allowed: different cameras, digital post-processing, all kinds of motives. The reason for this project is that I learn to improve my photography skills: every day, I have to think for a few minutes about how to take a nice picture. As a side effect, I hope to get a pretty nice wrap-up of the year. Maybe I won’t manage to follow the project more than a few days or weeks, but then it was still a nice experience.:-)

My camera equipment for the moment is my Canon EOS 400D DSLR with a 17-85mm IS lens and a 50mm fixed length lens with max aperture f1.8 from Canon, a 28-300m telezoom lens from Tamron, and – in situations where the DSLR is too heavy – a compact Canon PowerShot SX200IS camera for carrying around with me whereever I go.

The whole project has been inspired by a digital photography school post, and by Werner and Christof who are also following their own “Project 365″. Be sure to visit their blogs as well.:-)
